Join us in celebrating 25 years of innovation and research translation at UNIL and CHUV.
When? May 14, 2025, starting at 2:00 p.m. (registration required).
Where? Biopôle, Auditorium in Building SE-C.
In 2000, the Canton of Vaud decided to establish a unit at UNIL and CHUV dedicated to the “commercialization of research results.” Since then, PACTT has supported researchers in translating their inventions into benefits for society and patients, as well as in developing collaborations with partners to transform their results and innovations into products and services.
Twenty-five years later, this commercialization work has evolved in response to societal needs and technological advances. In addition to traditional patents, the importance of clinical data, software, and unique know-how has grown, presenting both challenges and opportunities.
Supported by the CHUV’s Department of Innovation and Clinical Research and the UNIL’s Vice-Rectorate for Research, this event will bring together key stakeholders from the public and private sectors, researchers, innovative companies, and decision-makers.
Together, we will explore future prospects for research collaborations, the commercialization of scientific findings, life sciences startups, and innovation.
